GRAM Rauschenberg exhibit to include a game of chance called Synapsis Shuffle | MLive.com
Each time the 52 panels of the work Synapsis Shuffle are presented, they are meant to be “shuffled” by a different group from the community. Each of the 12 shufflers selected for the exhibition at Grand Rapids Art Museum will randomly draw for the ability to compose a singular piece of artwork consisting of anywhere from three to seven of these panels. The order is in which they draw is random. The number of panels they can use will be random. Once all 12 pieces have been completed they will be on display at the GRAM from March 3 through May 20. →
